LaSalle high school has one of the most improved ice hockey teams in the area. After falling in the pre-season to them 6-5, the Trojans could not afford to take them lightly. They marched into Cincinnati Sunday and came away with a 5-4 victory. Zak Uhlenbrock led the way with a hat trick while Connor Sexton and Ian Kuntz chipped in with one goal apiece. Goaltender Scott Riedel made several key saves during the last few minutes with LaSalle players swarming the net in an attempt to tie the game.
Saturday, Troy moves on to the Goggin Ice Center in Oxford to take on the Miami Redhawks in a non-league tilt.
Sunday, Troy comes home to Hobart Arena to battle Mason on Pink in the Rink night.
